Why Midas? 

Midas was created after a lifelong love of cleaning. When all the teenagers at my high school where going to parties and sneaking out to have teenage fun. I loved nothing more than staying in with a good CD, a few cleaning cloths and some spray to detail and change around my bedroom furniture. I never got sick of the process removing the dust, polishing my belongings and presenting my room with love and care and I never felt like I missed out on the fun that all the others where having.

Fast forward to working in Dental Nursing & Workers Compensation then giving birth to 3 awesome humans and spending 8 years with them at home to give them my undivided attention. It was time to re-enter the workforce, but what to do? I had always said that I would make a great cleaner and it worked well with school hours. I found a position quickly and I loved it - going in each week or fortnight and making a difference to people's busy lives and homes.

Unfortunately after a year or so I had to move areas for personal reasons. I cleaned for a few clients in my new area until one of my wonderful clients offered me a job in her office. I continued to clean and work in the office until I didn't have time to clean anymore. At this time I was replaced as the cleaner and my mind was blown! I didn't realise how many cleaners came in and did not clean very much at all.

I realised that I needed to start my own company and provide the service that I feel people deserve in their homes. At Midas we clean how we would want someone to clean if they came into our home. We love the detail, the challenge of finding more dust each visit, presenting a home and treating our clients with love and respect.
